A meditation on depression and the part of the self that keeps reaching for help. A brain of welded steel, chain and silicon bronze is bound in forged links. Rising from it is a hand of ten woods: red oak, orange sage, canary wood, yellowheart, Patagonian rosewood, movingui, black limba, walnut, bloodwood and purpleheart. The cypress base carries yellowheart butterfly joints, a traditional symbol of mending. Dedicated to mental health awareness.
