Mr. Pedro, 2020. Padauk, poplar, grinder-etched metal. 25 × 31.5 × 1 in. Unique.
Private collection
Made to fit one specific artwork. Dual metal sides were etched by hand with a grinder so the surface catches light, then set against deep red padauk and pale poplar. The frame holds its own without overpowering the image inside.
